R.V.S. ACADEMY at Dimna Road, Mango, organized its 18th Annual Sports Day on Wednesday 5th December 2018 in the school ground with great zeal, excitement and frolicsome atmosphere.
The Meet was inaugurated by the Chief Guest Mr.Prabhat Kumar S.P Jamshedpur. The occasion was also graced by the School Chairman Mr. Binda Singh, School Secretary Mr. Bharat Singh, Treasurer Mr. Shatrughan Singh and Executive member Mr. Shakti Singh, who along with the chief guests gave away the medals and certificates of encouragement to the winners.
The school Principal Mrs. Mitali Roy Choudhury and Vice Principal Mrs. Shalini Kumar wished the students.
The students entered into the spirit of the occasion in a grand way with the march past performed by the students of the four houses -Rose, Violet, Sunflower and Aster, followed by the oath administered by the school captain Pawan Chatterjee with true sportsmanship spirit. An energizing drill depicting the theme of ‘Unity in Diversity’ displayed by the students of class IV and V set the tone for the rest of the customized and fun-filled track and field events.
The Chief Guest of the closing ceremony Mr. Hassan Imam Mallik, member of Hand Ball Federation of India declared the Meet close and the school flag was handed over to the Principal by the school captain.
