Labour Day was celebrated on 1st May 2026 at R.V.S. Academy, Mango, with great respect and joy. A special programme was organised to honour the hard work, dedication, and valuable contribution of the supporting staff of the school.
The dignitaries present on the occasion included the Chairman of the School Managing Committee, Mr. Binda Singh, Principal Mrs. Veesha Mohindra, and Vice Principal Mrs. Pooja Suman, along with all the teaching and non-teaching staff.
The programme began with a welcome speech by the Principal, Mrs. Veesha Mohindra, who highlighted the important role played by the helping staff and said that they should take pride in the fact that they help the school function smoothly every day.
The students presented a speech, a song, and a dance performance to express their gratitude and respect for all workers. Through their presentation, they emphasized the importance of workers in society and the need to value their sincere efforts.
The Chairman, Mr. Binda Singh, addressed the gathering and said that the contribution of helpers can never be underestimated. He added that respect for them should be inculcated in children from an early age.
To mark the occasion, the school honoured its helping staff by presenting them with food packets and gifts as a token of appreciation and gratitude.
