To tackle the mounting challenge of electronic waste, RVS Academy organised a vibrant E-Waste Awareness Rally, urging the local community to adopt responsible disposal habits.
The rally was officially flagged off by the school’s Honourable Chairman, Mr Binda Singh, alongside Principal Mrs Veesha Mohindra, the Vice Principal, coordinators, and teachers, who marched together to champion the cause.
Armed with eye-catching placards and thought-provoking slogans, enthusiastic students took to the streets to spotlight the hazards of discarded gadgets like old phones, laptops, and batteries. To make an enduring impact, they handed out creative bookmarks containing practical tips on safe e-waste management to onlookers and residents.
The initiative focused on the dangerous reality of electronic waste: when discarded carelessly, toxic chemicals leach into the soil, water, and air, endangering both ecosystems and human health. The young ambassadors urged citizens to follow the core principles of sustainability—Reduce, Reuse, Recycle, and Responsibly Dispose.
By stepping out of the classroom and onto the streets, the students showed that real environmental change begins at grassroots levels. Through their energy and dedication, RVS Academy reaffirmed its mission to nurture mindful, proactive changemakers dedicated to building a cleaner, healthier, and more sustainable future.
