R.V.S. Academy celebrated ‘HargharTiranga’ and ‘Meri Mati Mera Desh’under the aegis of Azadika Amrit Mahotsav.

As a part of‘AzadikaAmritMahotsav’ initiative R.V.S Academy  celebrated‘HargharTiranga’ and ‘Meri MatiMeraDesh’ through various on-stage and off- stage events organisedin its school premises.

An Inter-House Patriotic song competition for Classes VI-VIII was held  which aimed at fostering a sense of National Unity and pride through the power of music.A sit and draw competition for Class III, Slogan writing competition for Class V and Hindi essay writing competition for class VII wereheld to mark the above occasion. The students participated with lots of enthusiasm as the spirit of patriotism was in the air.

The day began with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp by thehonourable Chairman Mr. Binda Singh, Principal Mrs. VeeshaMohindra and Vice Principal Mrs. Anita Tiwari. It marked the  start of the journey towards celebrating the spirit of unity and national fervor .

The esteemed judges for the Patriotic Song competition were Mrs. Anita Tiwari and Mrs. PallaviKumari. The students of the four houses,that is, Rose, Violet, Sunflower and Aster participated in the competition. Two songs were sung by each House, on the basis of which the judgement was made.

Adding to the significance of the event the ceremony also included the distribution of certificates to the winners of past competitions organised by R.V.S Academy. The events were Hindi Recitation, Collage making, Handwriting Competition, English Story enactment and Debate.

The Principal addressed the gathering by reflecting on the importance of organising such events.  She also appreciated the students for their hard work. The Chairman through his words of encouragement inspired the participants to strive for excellenceand to take pride in being an Indian.

The results of the competitions were declared by the Principal of the school and the certificates were distributed. The programme ended with the delivery of the Vote of thanks followed by the school song and National anthem.
