On 29th October 2018, DainikJagran organized the Inter School Debate Competition at RVS Academy. The programme commenced with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp. Chairman Mr. Binda Singh, Principal Mrs. Mitali Roy Choudhury and Vice Principal Mrs. Shalini Kumar graced the occasion. Around seventeen renowned schools of the city participated in the competition. Some of the topics of the debate were –‘Should freedom be limited’, ‘Right of expression’ ‘Discipline obstructs Innovation’. After this five winners were chosen for the extempore of which three winners were awarded with trophies. Children wonderfully expressed their views for and against the motion and even performed well in extempore. The objective of the competition was to instill confidence, overcome stage fear and to bring all round development in the children. All the participants were given participation certificates and medals. The winners were as follows:
