YOUTH FESTIVAL- 2019

RVS Academy Campus reverberated with loads of fun- filled activities as the school hosted the Youth Festival for two days. The school celebrated Intra House Youth Festival, ‘Youngistan’ with great zeal and enthusiasm on 30^th August, 2019.

The School Chairman Mr. Binda Singh, Secretary Mr. Bharat Singh, Members of Executive Committee Mr. Shatrughana Singh and Mr. Shakti Singh, Principal Mrs. Mitali Roy Choudhury, Vice Principal Mrs. Veesha Mohindra lit the ceremonial lamp. This was followed by the bouquet presentation felicitations to the honourable judges ,Dr. Shalini Kumari, Professor Poloumi Ganguly, Professor Smita Dash and Professor Amanath Dutta.

In our busy lives, we most often tend to ignore the beauty of nature. Every colour of nature gives us the message of hope, happiness and wellbeing. As nature takes care of us, we should also take care about nature by preventing it from the destruction. This is what the theme of the day said, ‘Preserve Nature’.

The event commenced with cultural programmes followed by an array of On-Stage events namely Solo Song, Choral Recitation, Nukkad Natak and Group Dance. The Off-Stage events included Rangoli Making, Painting, Flower Decoration and Mask Making.

The events encapsulated the talent of students who showcased their skills, acumen and aptitude. The four Houses – Rose House, Violet House, Sunflower House and Aster House vied with each other to lift the Championship trophy. The scintillating performances by the students not only gave an opportunity to showcase their talent in diverse fields but also whetted their competitive skills.

The parents of the participants were also invited who gave overwhelming positive reaction. The Principal congratulated the teachers and students for putting up a wonderful programme. “More than winning or losing the spirit in which competitions are conducted deserves acclamation”, said the Chairman, Mr. Binda Singh.
