Saraswati Puja was celebrated at the premises of R V S Academy with great zeal and gaiety on 16th February, 2021.
Saraswati Puja is celebrated on the occasion of Basant Panchami which signifies the resolve to achieve wisdom from ignorance.The auspicious occasion was graced with the presence of the Chairman Sir, Mr. Binda Singh and the Managing Committee members.
The celebration was an attempt by the teachers to preserve the Indian culture and to impart a sense of respect towards long established tradition. Puja began with the chanting of shlokas and mantras from the holy texts.Prayers were offered to the deity of learning to seek knowledge. All the members of the school came under one roof to seek the blessings of the Goddess of wisdom and knowledge, music and art. The celebration made the event a memorable one evoking the blessings of the Goddess of knowledge to have a successful academic and career growth. Teachers prayed for the students of Std X and XII for a good performance in the forth coming board examinations.
The puja ended with the distribution of Prasad illuminating everyone’s life with light of knowledge leaving an ineffaceable impression on everyone present there.
