On 18th November 2023 , the students of RVS Academy, Mango paid a heartfelt tribute to one of the bravest warrior Queen , Rani Lakshmi Bai on her Birth Anniversary whose fearless and steely determination inspired countless Indians to rise against the British rule.
The occasion was graced by the Chairman of the school Mr Binda Singh, Principal Mrs Veesha Mohindra, Vice Principal Mrs Anita Tiwari, teachers and students.
A special assembly was conducted wherein the students presented a program based on the life of Rani Lakshmi Bai. The program started with a motivational thought followed by a speech in English which conveyed an emotionally charged description of the life of the Rani. The students also presented a patriotic poem in Hindi describing the valour and courage of the Queen of Jhansi. This was followed by a skit based on the inspiring life events of Rani Lakshmi Bai showcasing her bravery. It was a perfect way to celebrate the birth anniversary of the Queen who was born as ‘Manikarnika’ and became one of the leading figures of the First War of Indian Independence of 1857 and emerged as a symbol of unparalled courage and unwavering patriotism.
The Chairman Mr. Binda Singh paid his heartfelt tribute to the Queen of Jhansi and said that Rani Lakshmi Bai will always hold a special place in every Indian’s heart and her life is an inspiration for all of us. The Principal also paid her tribute to the Queen who attained martyrdom in the battlefield for the freedom of Mother India.
