RVS Academy, Mango, Jamshedpur, celebrated Hindi Diwas with great enthusiasm and cultural fervour. The programme aimed to instil in students a sense of respect and pride for the Hindi language and to familiarise them with its rich literary and cultural heritage.
The programme was graced by the esteemed presence of the Chairman, Mr. Binda Singh, Principal, Mrs. Veesha Mohindra, and Vice Principal, Mrs. Puja Suman. The programme commenced with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp by Chairman Mr. Binda Singh. This was followed by an insightful speech by a student highlighting the significance of Hindi and its role as a language that connects people across the country.
The students presented a variety of engaging performances showcasing the richness of Hindi literature and expression. A powerful stage presentation of Harishankar Parsai’s satirical play ‘Bhagat Ki Gati’ was presented, followed by an expressive recitation from Ramdhari Singh ‘Dinkar’s’ celebrated work ‘Rashmirathi’, which deeply moved the audience. Students also presented a story through dialogue, effectively highlighting the importance and relevance of the Hindi language.
A special attraction of the programme was the ‘Musical Presentation of Poetry’, where students presented Hindi poems accompanied by music. The beautiful blend of literature and music added a unique charm to the celebration.
Addressing the gathering on the significance of Hindi, Chairman Mr. Binda Singh said, “Hindi is not only our mother tongue but also a language through which we express our emotions and connect with one another. It is our collective responsibility to respect Hindi and contribute to its growth and development.”
On the occasion, Principal Mrs. Veesha Mohindra said, “Hindi is a language that connects us with our roots and is an integral part of our cultural identity. It is our responsibility to preserve and promote it so that the younger generation remains connected to its roots and continues to take pride in its culture even in a global environment.”
The programme concluded with a vote of thanks, expressing gratitude to the Chairman, Principal, teachers and all the participants whose dedicated efforts and support made the celebration successful and memorable.
