R.V.S. Academy Honours Its Guiding Lights with a Colourful Teachers’ Day Celebration.
R.V.S. Academy, Mango, Jamshedpur, celebrated Teachers’ Day with great enthusiasm and warmth, honouring the dedication and hard work of its teachers who play an important role in shaping the lives and future of students.
The celebration was graced by Chairman Mr. Binda Singh, Treasurer Mr. Shatrughna Singh, Member of the Executive Committee Mr. Shakti Singh, Principal Mrs. Veesha Mohindra and Vice Principal Mrs. Puja Suman, along with teachers and students.
The programme began with the traditional lighting of the lamp, symbolising the light of knowledge and wisdom that teachers bring into the lives of their students. This was followed by a special speech highlighting the important role of teachers in guiding students, building their confidence and helping them become responsible individuals.
The students presented a colourful cultural programme as a token of their love and appreciation for their teachers. A group dance based on the theme “Guru: The Bond of Many Colours” beautifully brought together different cultural elements through music and dance.
The highlight of the celebration was a skit depicting the struggles and responsibilities of a teacher. The students gave a lively and meaningful performance that portrayed the dedication, patience and sacrifices involved in the teaching profession. The performance was appreciated by everyone present.
Addressing the gathering, Chairman Mr. Binda Singh praised the teachers for their sincere efforts and commitment towards the students. He appreciated their role in providing academic guidance as well as helping students develop good values, confidence and a sense of responsibility. He also reaffirmed the school’s commitment to providing a positive and nurturing environment for the overall development of every child.
As a gesture of appreciation, gifts were presented to all the teachers. The celebration concluded on a cheerful note with a special lunch for the teachers and staff, giving everyone an opportunity to come together and enjoy the occasion.
