With great enthusiasm and joy, a Winter Mela was organised on 23 December 2025 in the school
campus under the aegis of RVS Academy. The mela was inaugurated by the Chairman of the school,
Mr. Binda Singh. On this occasion, the Secretary, Mr. Bharat Singh, Treasurer, Mr. Shatrughan Sinha,
and members of the Executive Committee—Mr. Shakti Singh, Mr. Saurabh Singh, and Mr. Ayushman
Singh—were present along with the school Principal, Mrs. Veesha Mohindra, and Vice Principal, Mrs.
Pooja Suman.
During the mela, the school campus came alive with colourful decorations, attractive stalls, and the
cheerful laughter of children. The little ones thoroughly enjoyed the swings and rides, while visitors
relished the Christmas Corner, Mehndi, and Tattoo Corners.
A variety of delicious food stalls were set up at the mela, offering golgappas, papdi chaat, pakoras,
chowmein, fried rice, cakes, pastries, ice cream, samosas, burgers, sandwiches, pav bhaji, mocktails,
and many other mouth-watering delicacies. Visitors were seen moving from one stall to another,
savouring the delectable food.
The main attraction of the mela was the Selfie Corner, where a large number of students and
parents captured memorable photographs. In addition, various entertaining and exciting games such
as the Pandora Box and Lucky Draw added to the fun and excitement.
The Request Corner further enhanced the festive spirit, where students danced to their favourite
songs, making the atmosphere lively and joyful. On this occasion, Chairman Mr. Binda Singh
remarked that such events not only break the monotony of studies but also help maintain a balance
between work and recreation, while promoting a sense of community and cooperation.
In the end, the Principal, Mrs. Veesha Mohindra, appreciated the dedication and cooperation of the
teachers and students for the successful organisation of the event. Thus, Winter Mela 2025 left
behind joyful and harmonious memories for everyone.
