A virtual Rakhi creation and exhibition was organized at RVS Academy on Saturday, 21st August 2021 to spread the message of brotherhood and happiness of Rakshabandhan among the children. Rakshabandhan, a famous emotional festival was celebrated in the happy atmosphere of the month of Sawan in the RVS Academy premises. Children of classes V, VI and VII participated enthusiastically in this festival. The sole purpose of this event is to motivate the children to learn and understand the importance and moral obligation of RakshaBandhan with the feelings of affection-love, honor-respect, protection-safety, their own culture-traditions and customs. In the light of these values of life, children spread their wonderful abilities by creating colourful rakhis from various artifacts and displaying beautiful presentations. The Chairman of the School Mr. Binda Singh, encouraged and inspired the children to preserve the culture of the country. He told the children that the festival of Rakshabandhan makes us aware to discharge our duty towards family, society, country and the world. It develops sociality within us. On this occasion the Principal of the school, Mrs. Mitali Roy Choudhury, the Vice Principal Mrs. Veesha Mohindra and other teachers were also present.
