R.V.S Academy organized Inter house declamation contest on 27th August, 2022. The Principal of the school Mrs. Veesha Mohindra, Vice Principal Mrs. Anita Tiwari graced the occasion. In a declamation, a student has to deliver a speech which has previously been delivered in public by an eminent person. This contest was held in two categories – Senior category represented by students of standard XI and XII and junior category represented by students of standard IX and X. Students selected inspiring speeches given by popular personalities. The students also shared the reasons for choosing the speech they delivered. Time limit was 3-5 minutes. Judges for the contest were Tr. Sonali Sen and Tr. Aarti Verma. The activity aimed at exploring and encouraging public speaking in children and giving them a platform to showcase their skill. The enthusiastic students wonderfully and ardently expressed their thoughts. The Principal said that Competitions like these not only help increase the confidence of the students but also open the doors for opportunities of different kinds in the future. The first position in Junior category was bagged by Navdeep Kaur (Violet House) .The second position was secured by Vaibhavi (Sunflower House). In senior category the first position was secured by Sana Firdous (Aster House) and Arpita Kumari Singh (Aster House) stood second in senior category.
