Carrying a Diwali message forward, ‘Joy of Giving’, R.V.S Academy visited
Missionaries of Charity Mother Teresa,Shishu Bhawan and Nirmal Hriday at Baradwari, Jamshedpur along with 26 students and 6 teachers on 14th October,2025
Diwali, a time of joy, light and good will towards people, the students of R. V. S Academy celebrated with the special ones. On the physical aspect of the festival, houses are filled with warmth, lots of love, laughter and good food. But somewhere in a small corner of our land, few children are longing for parental love and care and a warm meal during the festivals.
As a gesture of Diwali, ‘Joy of Giving’,love,warmth and care was offered to the orphans. Also the children were offered different grocery items, sweets, chocolates, fruit, etc. Students also put up a small cultural program to entertain the little ones. Songs were presented by children; sharing and praying for one another marked the occasion.
The Chairman of R.V.S Academy Mr. Binda Singh appreciated the initiation taken by the students and teachers to bring about positivity and joy among the special kids. He further inspired the students to participate in such events which are knowledgeable and spread awareness about our society. The Principal Mrs. Veesha Mohindra said that such visits teach our children the importance of helping and donating to others. It fosters empathy and reduces inequality in our society
