RVS Academy observed World Cancer Day with a special assembly held on the school premises on February 4, 2026, with the aim of spreading awareness and fostering empathy among students.
The assembly featured meaningful student presentations, including a speech highlighting the importance of cancer awareness, informative facts related to different types of cancers, and a thought-provoking poem that emphasized hope, courage, and compassion. Through these presentations, students gained valuable insights into the causes, prevention, and impact of cancer on individuals and families.
The program was both educational and sensitising, encouraging students to be kind, empathetic, and supportive towards those affected by cancer. The initiative reinforced the importance of awareness, early detection, and emotional support.
The special assembly was graced by the presence of the Vice Principal, Mrs Puja Suman.The Vice Principal appreciated the students’ efforts and highlighted the role of young minds in building a compassionate and informed society.
