The students of RVS Academy visited Old Age Home Furida, Dimna Road, on 15th October 2025, as part of the school’s community outreach programme. Students from Classes IV to XI participated in this compassionate initiative aimed at spreading warmth, joy, and care among the elderly residents.
The children presented a short cultural programme featuring songs, dances, and a skit, which brought immense happiness to the residents. Their lively performances filled the surroundings with laughter and affection, creating a bond of love between the young and the old.
As a gesture of goodwill, the school and students donated gifts, edibles, and other useful items to the inmates of the home. The heartfelt interaction and generous contributions reflected the values of empathy and social responsibility that RVS Academy strives to instil in its students.
The visit proved to be an eye-opener for the children, who were deeply touched by the stories and emotions shared by the elderly. Many of them pledged to care for and respect the elders in their own families and communities.
