R.V.S. Academy, Dimna, celebrated Mother’s Day today with heartfelt enthusiasm and joy. The event was graced by the presence of Chairman Mr. Binda Singh, Principal Mrs. Veesha Mohindra, Vice Principal Mrs. Pooja Suman, along with teachers and students of the school.
The programme began with a melodious welcome song, followed by a vibrant series of cultural performances. Students showcased their talents through dances, speeches, skits, and group songs, all dedicated to honoring the immense love and sacrifice of mothers. The emotional skits and sincere words moved many in the audience, leaving a lasting impression. Inspired by the event, students pledged to always respect and support their mothers.
The pre-primary section actively participated in the celebrations as well. Nursery children decorated photo frames, LKG students crafted paper bags and created colorful handprints, while UKG children made charming “Magic Handprint Flower Pots.” Older students expressed their affection by designing greeting cards and photo frames for their mothers, demonstrating creativity and love in every gesture.
Chairman Mr. Binda Singh remarked, “A mother is the most precious gift bestowed upon us by God. Her love, sacrifice, and patience form the foundation of our lives. We must treasure this divine gift and always show our gratitude and respect towards her.” Principal Mrs. Veesha Mohindra appreciated the students’ efforts, saying, “A mother is a child’s first teacher. Her blessings and guidance shape a child’s character and future. I am delighted to see the students express their emotions with such creativity and sincerity. May they always honour and value their mothers.”
