R.V.S. Academy celebrated Saraswati Puja, also known as Vasant Panchami, on January 23, 2026, with great enthusiasm and spiritual fervour. The auspicious occasion, dedicated to Goddess Saraswati—the Goddess of wisdom, knowledge, and the arts—witnessed active participation from students, teachers, and staff, all seeking divine blessings for academic and creative excellence.
The school campus was beautifully adorned with traditional alpanas (floral patterns), vibrant rangolis, and yellow flowers, creating an atmosphere of devotion and festivity. In keeping with the tradition of the “Yellow Day,” students and staff arrived dressed in ethnic yellow attire, symbolising the advent of spring, positivity, and prosperity.
The ceremony commenced with the installation of the idol of Maa Saraswati, followed by the chanting of sacred Sanskrit shlokas and mantras by the priest, filling the environment with serenity and devotion.
As part of the symbolic ritual of Vidya Arpan, students placed their books, pens, and musical instruments at the feet of the Goddess, seeking her blessings for wisdom, knowledge, and success in their educational pursuits.
Addressing the gathering, Chairman Mr. Binda Singh remarked,
“Saraswati Puja is more than a ritual; it is a celebration of the spirit of learning that defines our institution.”
The Principal, Mrs. Veesha Mohindra, highlighted the significance of knowledge and creativity in the 21st century and encouraged students to embrace learning with joy, discipline, and reverence.
The celebrations concluded with the distribution of Prasad, fostering a sense of unity, cultural heritage, and shared values among the school community.
