RVS Academy,Dimna Road celebrated Dussehra on the 22nd October 2016. The school, keeping with its tradition of togetherness organized a plethora of cultural activities for the teachers and the staff.
The occasion was graced by the school Chairman, Mr. Binda Singh, members of Executive committee, Principal Mrs. Veena Talwar, teachers and staff.
The program began with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp and welcome song. A short skit in Hindi, songs and dances were presented, creating a festive atmosphere.
Games like Housie were conducted and the teachers participated with a spirit camaraderie.
Celebrating festivals at school is an attempt to bring colleagues closer, to understand and uphold our traditions. The program ended in the afternoon with a sumptous lunch.
